Uniquely we are a business providing a cycle repair business but with strong ties to the community we operate in.
What does this mean?
It is well accepted that physical exercise significantly improves physical and mental health.
Cycling not only provides that on a recreational level but it also provides the most ecofriendly form of transport.
But within our business model we also include
work within the communities that surround us with sessions teaching basic bike maintenance working with the Delapre Trust and local Health, Social Services and Local Charities.
Dave Turner, the bike doctor is a bike junky and has been hoovering up bike information from a young age, spending his paper round money on his first mountain bike and has not looked back since.
Dave is happiest when on two wheels, has raced Downhill and XC mountain bikes but just as happy on a gravel bike or riding round the local woods with his Trail dog Bella.
Dave has been working as a mechanic since 1997 (25 years) is Cytech level one, two, and three road qualified, listed as a Master technician on the Cytech website. Trek bike fit trained.
Steve does not pretend to have the skills that Dave possesses, but for the last 12 years he has been representing GB in Age Group Triathlons up to and including World Championship level at ITU and ETU events as well as Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
He is also the Community and Charity link for our social responsibility activities as well as the providing the business admin that allows Dave to dedicating his time to what he does best – making your machine perform to its potential.
